About Me

I am, Wes Fraser, an astronomer working at the Herzberg Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics in Victoria, BC, Canada, which is part of the National Research Council. I got my PhD from the University of Victoria in 2008. After a series of flukey events, involving moves to California, and Belfast, Northern Ireland, I find myself back in Victoria.

I love am an avid beer brewer, coffee snob, and mountain biker. I play a lot of ultimate frisbee and disk golf. And you'll often see me in the garage building or hacking away at something, with the 3D printer dancing away in the background.

Here you'll find Wes's CV and an updated publication list. You can also find the products of many of my software development activities at my github page.
